Curriculum
We have put together a curriculum that will make learning the guitar fun, inspiring and offer the right amount of challenge to keep you engaged on this beautiful instrument.
The vast library of guitar styles and techniques have been methodically broken down into simple, intuitive lesson plans that will build the student’s ear, mind and aptitude for music as a whole.

The focus of the lessons will be on actually playing music, both to backing tracks and jamming with fellow students and teachers. This is based on the philosophy that music is expression and we encourage students to approach their instruments willingly with a sense of joy, pride and excitement.

The lesson plans will be supplemented by reading materials, backing tracks and playlists for the students to listen to. These will help us to work on student’s sense of pitch, time and rhythm. As we go through the module, the student will find themselves becoming comfortable with the more complex nuances of the instrument.
The course will cover a range of musical styles: pop, rock, blues, jazz. Students will learn these styles through songs and interactive playing sessions with fellow students and instructors. Live and interactive playing is the core of our teaching process.
