Our teaching methodology is firmly anchored in the globally recognized Suzuki philosophy of Western classical violin instruction.

The Suzuki philosophy is a belief that with the right environment and circumstances, most people can learn to play an instrument. This philosophy uses listening, imitation, and repetition to help people learn to play a musical instrument as if it were their native tongue. Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy, focuses on music’s ability to inspire the spirit and create well-rounded human beings with an appreciation for it's beauty.
The Suzuki method, at its core, is dedicated to crafting a nurturing learning environment accessible to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. In the initial stages, we prioritise learning by ear as the foundation of our approach, allowing students to embrace the instrument's essence. The introduction of sheet music reading will be seamlessly integrated into the curriculum a few months into the training, ensuring a comprehensive and gradual learning experience.
This method will be supplemented by the Violin star books. These pieces are fun, lively, and have backing tracks to play on. This facilitates the students musicality as they’re listening and playing at the same time, matching rhythm as well as pitch.

The repertoire is imaginatively tailored to develop specific techniques through an exciting range of musical styles – classical, traditional, pop, rock, jazz, world music.

These pieces offer beginner violinists a refreshing and inspirational choice of pieces to help build confidence and musical skills.
Our classes are thoughtfully designed with focused groups, ensuring an intimate learning environment with an average of four students per batch. We offer specialized batches for both children (ages 9 and up) and adults, tailoring our instruction to meet the unique needs and interests of each age group. Learning in a group fosters interactivity and cultivates an enjoyable educational experience. It not only keeps students motivated but also instills a sense of discipline that is crucial for effective learning.

A high-quality violin, along with the necessary instructional materials, is readily available for you. All that's left for you to do is simply step in for your very first lesson, ready to embark on your musical journey.
